What tends to happen in life is that we let our personality direct our life and our Soul gets forgotten.
My Philosophy
The personality might be the part of you that's very attached to looking a certain way physically, being perceived as smart, an outsider, earning a certain amount of money, or having a certain kind of status.
Anything you're attached to in the day to day is part of the personality. These personality traits could even be more ‘negative’, such as being a martyr, never feeling that life is working out, or always feeling that things are being done to you unfairly.
This is still part of a personality construct.
It's an idea of who you are. And there's something else happening because there is a Soul's journey, and often when these two things are disconnected, the Soul is forgotten. That's when we suffer depression and anxiety, feel hopeless and seek outside of ourselves to remedy that. Perhaps we try and get in a relationship with someone hoping they can fix it, and we project onto them that they'll fix it, but we get with them and nothing changes.
They can't fix us. They don't take away that pain.
The anxiety doesn't go away. We could also attempt to drink to forget the pain, take drugs to escape the anxiety, consume too much food or social media, anything not to feel the disconnect between the personality and the Soul. My deep desire is to support you in feeling seen and understood for who you truly are, deeper than the personality.
